Database Architect

• B.Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering from any reputed university.
• Training/Certification in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence is an advantage but not mandatory.

• 10+ years of industry experience.

• Determine database structural requirements by analyzing client operations, applications, and programming; review objectives with clients; evaluate current systems.
• Develop database solutions by designing proposed system; defining database physical structure and functional capabilities, security, back-up, and recovery specifications.
• Design and Implement Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence Solutions in expert level.
• Integrate algorithms and tools to accommodate processing of small and massive data sets of structured and unstructured compositions to support research activities in Client managed technology evaluations
• Extensive communication with US clients.
• Prepare technical documentation
• Collaborate with product design and engineering to develop an understanding of needs
• Research and devise innovative statistical models for data analysis
• Work as the lead data strategist, identifying and integrating new datasets that can be leveraged through our product capabilities and work closely with the engineering team to strategize and execute the development of data products.
• Execute analytical experiments methodically to help solve various problems and make a true impact across various domains and industries.

• Very strong in problem solving.
• Proven work experience as MSSQL Server DBA is a must
• Solid experience with Data modeling for BI and Data Warehouse.
• Hands on experience with Extract, Transform and Load data from Relational Databases.
• Extreme knowledge on SQL Query Performance Tuning as well as other administrative task.
• Sound Knowledge on SQL Server backup, recovery, HA and DR technologies
• Expertise with Integration Tools, preferably on SSIS.
• Expertise with Microsoft Power BI, Tableau is preferred.
• Knowledge of different visualization library like D3.js, Fusion Chart, High Chart will be an added advantage
• Expertise in Amazon Database and Data Warehouse Services (RDS and Redshift) is preferred.
• Demonstrated understanding of Agile (preferably Scrum) principles and practices.
• Must be able to handle US based client.
